yep this is why i say after taylor made kendrick made this battle so entertaining the response with euphoria then him spining the block with 6:16 add that in with the mystery of the cover art with the glove internet was going nuts tryna figure it out.

Push Ups - diss wise was wack. but cool enough to put his foot in the door. that Top wanna peace it up/Rapping like im 50 scheme was tough not gonna front

Taylor Made - surpirsingly solid but was a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE idea and the way kendrick flipped it on him with euphoria Lyrics/6:16 execution was crazy

Family Matters - as a song this shyt is tough as nails. as a diss its good but he shouldve stuck to just getting at kendrick with that flow/delivery from the first verse cause that last verse has some cringe lyrics.

The Heart Part 6 - struggle bar fest

overall this battle just shows how lazy as an artist drake is. and how unprepared he was. he literally sat on family matters for a month and a half and thought that song was going to be enough to finish off kendrick which led to that white flag memoir Heart 6

I stand by what I said. This was a great song and probably my fave song of the battle behind “family ties” but I felt like it kind of stepped on Euphoria and it was really inconsequential to the battle as a whole.

Musically it’s fire

Strategically I’m not a fan of the back to back approach. Drake did that bc Charged Up was ass.

There’s so little to gain when the OG diss was that massive

Well, clearly I was wrong as he back to back’d him not once but twice. Followed potentially the best diss record of all time with the biggest diss record of all time

As far as 6:16 it now listens like an eery precursor to MTG. It is perfectly situated in the beef
