Once again Drake put himself out there. Kenny can set it off on Drake but he won’t. So how can u say Drake scared? Drake proved himself. Kenny did not.
Kendrick never battled no one

He also stays out the public eye and lil is known about him very protective of his image and dude literally hides for 3-4 years he’s the culturally least impactful mainstream rap star ever what could one even say about dude

Kendrick would cook Drake, of course he appeals to more fans since he’s far more liked and is in the mainstream eye more but as far as skills or lyrical talent goes we know who will win. Mainstream fans are like rabid packs of hyenas when you talk bad about their favorites.

people talking about "battle rapper" but kendrick isn't a battle rapper.
he was targeting rap positions/title as the best, not actually coming at people until sensitive rappers took offense
yall comparing real life talk shyt about they family beefs to someone just stating facts that they are the best rapper :mjlol:

the best disses between the two of them were the future sh!t remix and kendrick's bet freestyle. i still find myself listening to them a few times a year...

and common one of my all time fav but that stay scheming diss was trash. only here do i see it hyped up. the why he dissed him is an L in itself.

Honestly I’m a Kdot stan but I don’t think it’s as clear cut. Yes Kendrick is a far better rapper and lyricist (who doesn’t use ghostwriters). But the Drake/Meek battle proved the best rapper doesn’t automatically win. It depends on the track, the beat, who had the most memorable lines etc. I think Kdot’s camp is far better than Meek’s, meaning they wouldn’t allow him to release a wack diss...but end of the day Drake could still win.

It would be two good disses with dope beats. Who wins? Probably the more popular rapper, Drake. I’d imagine plenty of people would say Kdot won too, especially the “real rap” crowd but when you add everyone else into the pot...nah. Sure if Kendrick straight up annihilated Drake, and Drake’s response was mid, Kdot wins. But I think both tracks would be dope.

People ignore that Drake is way more in line with what “generic rap fan” likes (music, clothes, beliefs etc) than someone like Kdot or Cole...

The general consensus is that Pusha T washed Drake and Drake is more popular.

I also agree that Kdot never having a rap battle is a point against him. Same with Cole...unless you count the Diggy Simmons thing lol. Every top ten rapper had a battle, or came so close it doesn't matter.

End of the day Drake and Dot are cool with each other. I think Drake was waiting for him (and Cole) to fall off and it never happened, so at this point it's just mutual respect.

ironically in that vid he's still waiting for the fall off.

I WILL say a knock against Kendrick is that Jay Electronica called him out and he didn’t respond

Kendrick's resume is straight. He is literally what you see is what you get. He ain't into chatty patty shyt on the net and focuses on his family and his hood.

Drake and his questionable pen and fake Jamaican/UK hybrid accent has a personality that is filled with holes.

Push already dismantled him, Kenny could do the exact same if push came to shove. I don't see it happening though because they're both successful and eating good. Kendrick is a humble dude and Drake doesn't really want that smoke after Push destroyed him and Meek exposed his pen.

of course. and it's not like we're saying kendrick is some sort of infallible rap god. nah, he's been bad faith too & worthy of criticism. cool

but this is about the two men squaring off boots on the ground & rubber to the road. drake against kenny? kenny wouldn't only just win he'd wash him lol & drake couldn't hide behind "oh he's just some little man trying to dis the big dog to get hot. he's beneath me.." uh uh drake, this man is your industry equal with a pulitzer no less so ya can't use that narrative. this is about emceeing. anyone familiar with me knows i'm a huge drake fan but i'm objective. drake wants no parts of this nikka k dot trust me, he probably always had like 15 rhymes ready in the arsenal for drizzy on some krs one type shyt b. he's part of a steel sharpens steel rap collective that ain't about partying and hoes, these nikkas rhyme all damn day lol
