As for this game, delay to Q1 is actually good. Less competition so they might get a little more exposure.

Wouldn't even be surprised if this wasn't sony like "yo hold onto that for January" cause of all the stuff coming out in november. It'd be a waste to release this along side the 15 other games coming out.

I'm expecting both XSX and PS5 to be nothing but glorified last gen BC machines in November. The rate of delays isn't going down. Hope Sony doesn't put the screws to Insomniac over Miles Morales. Would be trifling as fukk since they just acquired the studio.

as someone said in another thread...I’m looking at some of these studios more so than sony and MS directly...to be fair tho...COVID is slowing shyt up...not to mention there usually is an awkward transition from current gen to next gen...shyt is just worse this year for obvious reasons...the miles morales game is still enough for me to want a PS5 and if they stay on schedule a decent amount of exclusives will be dropping during the 6 month window from console release...so I still want a PS5 upfront because idk what the availability is gonna be like after these first units sell out...I would like to get an XSX with the expectation that it’ll be better for 3rd party games but I need that to be proven first before I just buy it on a whim...I think I can wait 6 months for an XSX...the only 3rd party games I’m looking at right now are cyberpunk and maybe cold war and I’d be content playing those on the X1X for now

Yeah, it's definitely on COVID that most of the titles are getting delayed. I'm hoping no developers get pushed into at-risk work for the sake of these games coming out on launch day.

I can’t help but feel the initial disappointment but after mulling it over for a while I feel better about them taking their time and releasing their games under the right circumstances than I do about the companies who are rushing to put out their yearly “beta” test games ie madden 2k COD assassin’s creed

A certain someone said this wasn't dropping at launch and not this year even.
I was picking it up on PC anyway, but the narrative is it's a "playstation exclusive" so I'll run with that.
