People need to stop dignifying these clowns by recognizing them as worthy of debate wherever possible. The real battles are people trying to force Creationism into science curriculums and edit or omit references to science. Unless it's a sure victory that is also guaranteed to convert people or significantly damage the creationist agenda, it's a waste.

1. Nye graduated from Cornell in 1977 with a degree in mechanical engineering and took a job with Boeing, where he worked on flight control and navigation systems for jets. He proudly states that the hydraulic pressure resonance suppressor he designed is still used on Boeing 747s.

2. In the early 2000s, Nye assisted in the development of a small sundial that was included in the Mars Exploration Rover missions.[2] Known as MarsDial, it included small colored panels to provide a basis for color calibration in addition to helping keep track of time
  • Friend, T. (January 5, 2004). The sun on Mars. InThe talk of the town. The New Yorker, LXXIX, 27.

:usure:

I got the patents mixed up with other shyt he did design and develop.

whats funny is that NONE of this contradicts the claim that Nye has CREATED more stuff than this creationist clown ever has
