This is what we have been socialised to believe. I partly blame the church for this. We turn the other cheek while they keep killing us, hoping one day cacs will 'wake up' and realise they were wrong.

To be honest, I think she is right.
When you rely on hatred, feelings of love and compassion can influence your decision.
I believe that the focus should be placed on what is necessary, taking emotion out the equation.
When swinging the axe, metaphorically speaking of course, the heart could give way to tears from his loved ones. When you realise that it is a necessary act, it is just business. A means of getting retribution and establishing a deterrent.

This makes no sense. If someone killed your child and you went looking for them to kill them hate is just a word at that point. There’s no word for what that is. It’s just natural.
