Bryan isnt getting significant focus..getting a segment and wrestles every other week or does the dark match.
It doesnt matter if theyre in the limelight if the writing sucks though. My top three favorite wrestlers are ALL on SD and i havent watched in months. Why? Because outside of their matches (which they have better ones elsewhere), im not entertained. Should WWE care that fans arent invested? Absolutely. Do you think with net neutrality being repealed that that shyt product they put out is going to sustain fans? If im paying a premium for entertainment then Im watching something good. Coasting season is almost overWith the exception of Rollins and Braun, the most “over” men on the main roster are on SD and SD’s attendance still sucks and the number of eyes on the content are, at best, stagnant. They’ve got Bryan getting significant focus and have had Styles on top for awhile, often putting him with other chosen ones like Nak. The company listened to their audience, put those guys on top, and they’re not popping anything.
When I say overness doesn’t matter, it’s because it doesn’t right now when it comes to WWE’s bottom line. Nothing really changes, drawing-wise, in any truly significant way when they push the crowd appointed versus when they push ones that aren’t. The company has, to both their betterment and detriment, built a product where no one will likely ever be a true top shelf star again and the pieces are a mix of interchangeable and disposable. It’s WWE brand over everything, no matter how live audience reactions are catered to or ignored. (I’m of the thought that they might as well mostly cater to them because ignoring them isn’t doing anything either, like it used to at Cena’s peak. It’s no gain, but no lose too.)
It doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy who you enjoy or think things are more quality than others, want to see your faves on top; no one should need to be vindicated in liking what they like by “drawing power” anyway. It just means pieces like Keller’s, that make it seem like Reigns’ push is the root of any and all failure, are a bunch of hot air.
You made a whole thread for one quote about Bryan he said just a month or two agoTwo years was the last relevant thing he messed up? That's fine for his standards. I could of easily added the Asuka screw up at WM this year though for a well deserved calling out for his stupid mindset and dumb decision making.

He's basically proving Roman's point about him already being a "heel"

Because TA is a mid card talent that never drew a dime, numbers don’t lie
He semi regularly have interviews with former WWE writers who gives insight on the behind the scenes workings of creative..those are usually always really good.Is Keller's podcast worth subbing? I don't give a shyt about the weekly reviews, just the special guests.

They just signed two guaranteed billion dollar TV deals and, because of how sanitized the product is, are raking in better sponsorships/partnerships than ever. The international number of subscribers was up to 500K recently. Do-Whatever-The-fukk-They-Want season has just begun.
And everyone is booked like shyt except for those still down in NXT (and NXT loses millions of dollars every year). Reigns doesn't get that excuse when people are tearing him down for flopping, why should anyone else? In this equally badly booked landscape, the crowd-anointed ones are not drawing eyes to the product any better than the supposed failures are. You don't like that your favorites aren't some top draw on the WWE stage (most of mine weren't and aren't,),
