On the flip side, the Kelis / Pharrell / Chad shyt just didn’t work out. They moved on and produced a trillion hits and her apex was with them with Pharrell writing.

Kelis’ issue (like many artists) should be with the way the industry is set up. Folk wanna make music but not do their due diligence when it comes to the “business” side.
Doubt Beyoncé cares about her because she got kids to raise and an album to promote along with showing her cheeks on IG.
