Not knocking him. I'm happy for him to the highest degree he just needs another heater. Plus he's kind of going down the M. Knight Shyamalan route where he's hyping his name and putting as the showcase of the project and the material is not matching the branding that he, the studios, and his team is doing
Fam this is his third movie. First 2 critically acclaimed.

Some of you put too much stock into the "produced by" thing. Some of yall were acting like he was the showrunner on Lovecraft Country

US was way too layered, and seemingly hate on by a bunch of people. Hope he's taken his time with how he presents his next horror piece.

I still appreciate it but I can never place it anywhere close to Get Out.

Us wasn't that good but I've enjoy his work even since the Key & Peele show. Showrunner or not If they're going to attach his name on a show as a part of its marketing and advertising angle he better make sure its up to par. There's always been deals in Hollywood where you can pay a hot name to add his or her name to the project for a nice fee/payday and they didn't have anything to do with the process creating nor producer wise. I don't care how you feel the fact remains, he has to watch how is name is being used from here on out. These side for profit projects if not done right can sully his name over time.
