experience is a weird thing.....in a series like you all had against the Bulls it didn't have much of a effect....because the bulls were always a overrated/overachieving team that really didn't have that much experience in the playoffs when you really think about it....they had no deep runs when they weren't dominated 4-1.....they never saw their lives flash before their eyes like the pacers did game 6 vs the hawks and come back from it. They had a number of players that had played in playoff games but never made any serious deep runs or responded to the vultures circling around them for months like the pacers are doing now (much like miami's first championship squad had to do)
Until you watch how a team progresses just from experience alone like the Pacers have these last few years then you really get to appreciate the effect it has. It's like the law of averages a BATTLE TESTED experienced playoff team like the Pacers will alost always find a way to win a series against a team who's supertsrars are green like the wiz....this is why i always was confident against the hawks as well....you'll see with time if you all can keep this core together
I know Wall and Beal will be here. Nene will be there cause no one will take the last two years of his contract.
With Grunfeld still in charge, he probably will keep Ariza/Gortat/Miller together and maybe keep the old guys just cause they are on minimum contracts and not do much else to upgrade the roster. Our Kevin Durant dreams to DC will come to an end in the first week of free agency.
I think this group has peaked together and I do not see Wall becoming a legit superstar in this offensive system. I don't think he'll ever be the guy who will take the shots when his team needs them most. I think that's Brad Beal because of what he's done being the youngest guy in the postseason and making big plays... he nearly got that and 1 last night to perhaps send that to OT
