mine would be "The Devil Wears Prada"

I watched it outta boredom on PPV back in 2006 when it came out and I was impressed... then I copped the DVD... and downloaded the Soundtrack... :wow:

what's yours? let's hear it...:sas1:
Devil Wears Prada here. I'm not a chick flick type of guy but that and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist I can watch any day of the week.

And we could argue that Clueless isn't really. It's a high school movie just so happens to be about women but it's not overly romantic or sympathetic and it's really fukkin funny and kind of intelligent. Most of the movies named are romantic comedies Clueless isn't
:carltonscare:

Clueless definitely fits the chick flick tag.

Makes sense especially in regards to Mean Girls. Speaking of high school movies though Heathers is in my top 10
Mean Girls fits chick flick tag. Heathers doesn't.

Heathers is :banderas:
:leon:

Never seen that one. Sounds dope.
If she wants a lighter movie, get Charade.

:yeshrug: I fukks with RomComs & I fukks with the Teen films folks have mentioned in this threads, so it's hard for me to choose.

I guess I would have to go with the late 90's/early 00's teen films mentioned in this thread for the nostalgia factor & I eventually wanna own those films as part of my Blu-ray/UV collection.

Romantic Dramas >

500 days of summer

Up in the air

The notebook

Chasing Amy

He's just not that into you

:noah:

Even though I fukks with RomComs & maybe even Romantic Dramedys, I don't fukks with Romantic Dramas (Although I'm gonna try to give a few of them like "The Notebook" a chance though.)

:comeon: Some those movies you listed are RomComs, not Romantic Dramas. "He's Just Not That Into You" (Which is definitely a slept-on movie on this forum) is definitely a RomCom. "Chasing Amy" which is a Kevin Smith movie that that is part of his View Askewniverse, has got to be a RomComedy.

Anyone seen Celeste and Jesse Forever? I enjoyed that one, mostly because the soundtrack and Rashida Jones.
I forget exactly how it went, but the part at the wedding reception where she watches Jesse slow dance with his new wife was heartbreaking, add to that the dope cinematography and music playing had me :to:, especially since I watched it after coming off a break up. Those RomComs be getting to me sometimes :yeshrug:

Up in the Air is a chick flick? :dahell:

Definitely

Waiting to Exhale

I don't know if this movie qualifies as a chick flick but I really liked "Young Adult", it spoke to me brehs. :mjcry:

Apparently any film that deals with relationships is a chick flick.
