If that worked for you cool, but personally I don't buy into this notion that the man has to do all the work.

I'm not even saying females have to approach a guy on some "hey you look good, gimme ya number" type shyt. All they have to do is strike a simple conversation with us and if we're game, then we'll run with it. But you got those broads who are interested in a particular guy but think all they have to do is just sit there or be in the vicinity, then they get mad when the dude doesn't respond or is completely oblivious. I don't play games. You have to meet me halfway and put in some effort too. It's not my job to validate anybody. If I'm the one that's interested, then I'll approach and set things off.

Like I mentioned in the thread, the chick that I spoke to earlier today was clearly interested and although she was too young for me, to her credit she at least struck up some convo after the sales talk and wanted to take things further, but I don't mess with teens so I had to decline. Older women can take a leaf out of her book.

nah, fukk that though. there comes a certain point where as a man you should be able to read a chick's body language...how she gravitates towards you...drifts away from her friends into your area, etc, and have that be enough to go in for the kill. it's like developing a sixth sense and i fukking love it. honestly the 2nd most exciting part of the game to me.

But personally, if she doesn't say a word or even bother to smile and if I'm not interested and/or don't find her attractive, I'm not saying anything. Why should I? Just because she's a female and that she's there? What would they do if the roles were reversed? Now if she smiles or says hi, then no problem I can run with it. But in life you don't get what you want by not being at least somewhat proactive.

When I was in college I knew a chick who liked a dude I used to know and would always say although she likes him and they see each other every week in college, he's not approached her or said anything. I asked her what has she done to show him she's interested, she was like no I haven't even said anything to him yet. So I was like, well what do you expect? Then later on down the line she's mad when this white chick approached him at some end of term party and they ended up going out, even though she had ample opportunity to make the effort herself way beforehand.I actually spoke to him after that and asked him if he knew that other chick had liked him and he was like "she's never even looked at me".

I agree with what you said. I thought you were of the variety that if a girl did not pursue you then you would not entertain the idea of talking to her. What you just explained is perfectly fine and reasonable.
