I think Nike went the same way as the Spurs. He was done with them because they wanted more money and Nike had a problem with re-upping him until he got back on the court. I guess Kawhi felt like he felt with Spurs and was like fukk yall then.

Can you explain a little more about this? not really familiar with NBA contracts tbh...by moving to Toronto he can't sign as big a contract as he would've in SA, right? And he's paying more taxes by playing in Canada than in the US?
