this the biggest reach/corny as all hell. receiving the FMVP from the person it's named after is now some happenstance premonition of things to come? :swaggywhat: :camby:

I’m pretty sure it’s just supposed to be ironic that 4yrs ago he won a title with the team it seemed like he would never leave - only for all of that to be dashed today

If you get Pop to take Parsons' contract, it's worth it.

Memphis gets a year of Conley, Kawhi and Marc, and they were going to lose their 2019 1st anyway.

I dont see pop taking parson big azz contract and still having LMAs on the books too.

At least with ball and kuzma you got a scoring duo and you dont have to wait on the pick to get settled.

Realistically the Celtics package would be Jaylen Brown + Kings pick + Future Celtics pick + Smart and/or Morris. They CAN swap Brown for Tatum if absolutely necessary but chances are they won't need to because no one else will have a better package than that to offer.

That team would definitely be better than the Sixers. Kyrie would average 30, Kawhi cancels out LeBron, Simmons has already been shut down by Stevens defensive scheme and will again, Embiid will get off but Horford would have his 20 to offset that, Tatum would have free reign to dominate whoever is matched up on him, and Boston would have the better bench

For a rental? :gucci:

I THINK the tweet was referencing that 4 years ago today, the Spurs ran the Heat out the gym and Kawhi won Finals MVP.

4 years later, he's basically gone.

Basically agree with @Remote, tbh.

I’d made my peace with a Kawhi departure late in the season. If he was done with SA and wanted a change a’ scenery, go with god, young buck.:yeshrug:

But, if he leaving on some grimy, underhanded snake shyt, it’s on sight with that fakkit. :pacspit:

It’s been obvious for many months he quit on the team and wanted out

I’ve been accepting of this reality
