:dead: Kawhi’s camp is doing everything to kill his trade value. At this point, I think he’s gonna be traded for probably DeRozan and a pick or just Saric and Covington if it’s the Sixers in late August

Lol this is he and his camp pretty much saying don't trade for me Toronto  or I'm gonna fukk you over and leave next summer

Hurts Kawhi’s long term revenues.

Thats a general statement. How exactly does this hurt his long term revenue other than him not getting the $200 mill max (which he can make up later in his career anyways)?

Also makes Dennis unappealing to other athletes. No one of note will want to sign with an agent who has bungled this situation as badly as Dennis has.

He hasnt bungled anything as of yet. He's pretty much made Kawhi untradeable to anyone but LA which is where Kawhi wants to go. And he put the honus on the Spurs to either trade him, or lose him by next year for nothing. What has he bungled other than Spurs fans feelings?

You dont have to agree with their moves. But this is entertainment TO YOU. To them, its a business. And I dont see why you wouldnt support players doing what THEY feel is in their best interest.

Did I fukk with Bron teaming up with Wade and them or Durant with the Warriors? Not necessarily. But taking their career into their own hands and not letting cac owners decide it for them? 100%..
Bron and Durant left and made decisions as free agents.

They didn’t sit out an entire season, rehabbing with their own doctors without any team supervision. And they didn’t try to strong arm their teams into trading them to a conference rival.

This talk of sitting out the season still cracks me up. As I mentioned pages ago:

  • Kawhi sits out, the year left on the contract still remains.
  • The only way he rides this out is by claiming injury
  • However, if he claims injury for the first half of the season, gets traded and magically passes the physical, the Spurs can sue the hell out of him, his agency and/or his doctors.
  • Spurs are already calling his bluff. If RC can convince Toronto to do the same, Spurs are golden.

Kawhi hasnt messed anything up concerning money other than missing out on the "supermax" when eventually he'd make that money up anyways. Aint no one playing the fool but you...

Can he make it up later in his career? Probably. However, everyone was pointing to IT when Kawhi sat out in the first place. Look at what happened to Boogie due to injury. And Kawhi's career has been filled with random ass injuries as well. He's not Bron.

And things have been "bungled." The minute midnight hit yesterday, a supermax offer should have been on the table for him to sign. Who in their right mind would have ever thought Kawhi would not even have the option to choose to sign the supermax?

Who cares? If Kawhi came back playing Wilson Chandler and the Spurs could have got a king's ransom for him, he'd be traded. So in the grand scheme teams can move a player when its not working for them, but players cant force themselves out when its not working for them..

Im all for players exercising their power even if its to the detriment of the team I root for..
