I think if Lebron opts out and chooses LA quickly, Boston probably doesn’t bother trying to get Kawhi. I mean their biggest obstacle in the East just left town.
Boston and Philly are not really offering anything for Kawhi. Whoever is throwing that out there is trying to get the Lakers to give everything up for Kawhi.

Philly's not in the picture. They don't have the assets that Boston can offer and the Lakers are the team that Kawhi wants to play for supposedly.
In the nba it’s basically about doing anything you can to get top of the league players.
Kawhi is one of them if I’m the Celtics or Philly I take a gamble to get that player and that when he comes to your team and wins big he’ll want to stay
