They were 14-1 odds when the season started (5th in the Vegas books), and that was before Siakim took a HUGE leap. He was the runaway MIP and could easily be an all-star next year.

If people had known that half the Warriors would get hurt and Siakim would make the leap, Raptors would have been a top-3 favorite along with Boston and Houston. Bucks were actually the much bigger surprise, they were 80-1 preseason.

That said, it's silly to call Toronto stacked. They were a very good team but they needed every bit of Kawhi showing out in order to get there.

No many people still had Philly over Toronto as well. We not about to play this game because Toronto won it all,yes they were a top team in the East and league but:

GS
Houston
Philly
Boston
Milwaukee

Were all favorited to win it over them as the season kept progressing
Regardless Toronto wasn’t stacked at all and that’s the discussion at hand

Shams worded the tweet wrong. He meant Russ and PG were discontent with the organization not feuding with each other.
Doesn't matter, dude gave up on Russ after 2 years. OKC hasn't done anything out of this world to hurt the team. He and Russ just didn't show up. OKC could have done better but they still had a team that should have been out of first round

That Raptors title is fugazi as fukk it will be remembered for

1. KD tearing his Achilles
2. Klay tearing his ACL
3. Kawhi leaving after he won it

Kawhi proved his worth after the Bucks series. He’s certified top 3 in the league, but everything that happened after shows you how legit the title was.

Tdot.. till the death of me
:dead: thanks massai..we are officially fukked now :dead:

Gave up a loyal derozan for a 1 year with kawhi..appreciate the chip but ain't no dip now!!

Our only problem was lebron..we consistently had the better records in the east..but we just couldn't get passed lebron..lebron goes to the west..essentially giving toronto a EZ pass to the finals..and instead, you tell derozan to fukk off

Now we got no DeRozan and no Kawhi :russ::laff:

I gotta laugh to keep from crying :mjcry:

I made a thread this week saying I still see Kawhi joining the Clippers cause him joining the Lakers would be weaker than KD joining GSW & y’all deleted it. Now look :wow: even Kawhi knew it. Like I said why help Lebron’s legacy when he has a legit shot to win more chips than anyone of this era (Kawhi & KD on two, Lebron & Curry on three). So again I’m not surprised he joined the Clippers, y’all just were fooled by these “insiders” that don’t know shyt.

I’m more shocked that Paul George has left OKC. So this era of OKC is officially over. Can’t believe this decade they had KD, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, Adams, Oladipo, Melo & Paul George yet don’t have a ring to show for it. That 30 for 30 is going to be legendary
