The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Damn, I knew OKC was gonna do something soon tho this caught me completely by surprise. I knew OKC ain't want to pay the tax, I think they was about to pay a repeater tax..

you don't be paying repeater tax if you're OKC and your ceiling is the second round. They had to make a move.

This is the most interesting part and isn’t being talked about enough

Kawhi meeting with pg13 and then pg13 demands a trade? I need to hear more about this

Presti probably pissed but that clipper offer was way too good to pass up

Ok brehs (esp. Laker fans), I want you all to listen to me right now and get this through your heads...

HISTORY... DOES... NOT.... MATTER!!!!!!!!!

I have absolutely nothing against the Lakers. But their fans kinda deserved this because just like the Knicks, I watched and listened to them turn their nose up at their inner city counterparts and laughing at the thought of any free agents actually wanting to go there because of them being "the inferior team" in their city and how their team had such a long and rich history therefore making them entitled to all the top guys.

fukk all of that. None of that past shyt matters. None of these players care about what a team did 20 years ago, they only care about what they're doing now and what they can do to help a team at this moment.

Still latching on to legacy :camby:
You do realize we got two top 5 players in the league after being sorry for six years right?

man the clippers are nuts for giving that many draft picks up for PG-13.
He ain’t worth all that not to mention Shai and Gallo two very solid players, one with upside.

But it was a by any means necessary type situation. They better win.

Yes, I'm aware of that. But that has nothing to do with what I'm talking about.

Point is that the Clippers (just like the Nets) have been talked about as an attractive destination even before free agency started. Yet I sat back and listened to people talk about "why would anybody go to the Clippers! They're the B team! They're a sorry franchise, they never mean anything in their city! blah blah blah!"

All a bunch of things that are irrelevant and should have no effect on wanting or not wanting to play somewhere. That legacy/popularity talk is for the birds
