She's not actively trying to ruin shyt. If anything this is a perfect example of how white people, perhaps especially white women, perceive aggression from black people. The conversation is testy but certainly nothing crazy, yet almost 20 years later she vividly remembers it? WHY? Because she thought Denzel was calm and passive, and seeing him somewhat agitated resulted in her feeling like she was being verbally attacked. A lot of white people melt down when faced with any type of minor "conflict" with black people.

Now imagine what happens to Denzel The Random Black Guy in sales who makes his boss uncomfortable over some minor disagreement. He gets fired. Every day in America.

Would she ask Brad Pitt the same question she asked Denzel?

Probably? And if he reacted the same way she would not remember it 20 years later, nor would it resonate the same as a black man reacting that way. I think you misread my post breh. The point isn't that she was testing Denzel. The point is that he reacted in a way she did not expect, and it made her uncomfortable because many white people can't handle even the hint of frustration or agitation from a black person - which they perceive as maximum aggression.

Denzel just has that real nikka trait ...you can tell he ain’t with the fukk shyt.

he definitely has that uncoachable “don’t try me” aura.

Katie’s line of questioning was out of line

Denzel handled it in a much more polite way than the question deserved.

Yet she still tried to pull the ol “he went big scary black guy on me for no reason” routine.

as if being a “Hollywood type” invalidates your thoughts, feelings and ability to empathize with what other human beings are going thru.

Denzel is an emotionally intelligent black man, not someone to play that silly “stay in your lane” shyt with.

No, I understand your post but you're fooling yourself if you really think she would ask a white actor that question. They always ask black people questions like that to get insight on our thinking without mentioning race. It's that passive aggressive stuff they enjoy pulling on us everyday that is disguised as harmless to those who are not aware.

Just think of the thousand of interviews this tramp has done but the one with Denzel left her shaken
I'll never forget how she was sniggling and giggling in the lil Wayne interview. shyt was disgusting, me and my man laugh about it to this day.

That's the kind of black man she likes: drugged out and degenerate.
