They trying to downplay that cracka threatening the Black boy by telling him to move and then putting his hands on him. That fat ass cracka played football and knew how to throw his body around trust me he was pressing up on breh and breh wasn't in the mood to be pressed. Probation with anger management specializing in conflict resolution for young breh and call it a day
Yeah most lawyers say the response has to be equal to or at least reasonable in response to the transgression.
If dude put hands you and you slap him you probably wouldn't get into any trouble. punch probably not either
If dude came at you with crowbar and you stab him you probably wouldn't get into any trouble either. shooting him probably not either
but If a dude grabs you and you stab him, most judges aren't going to find that to be a reasonable response.
There limits to everything, Even in a mass shooting you can't hit the shoot the mass shooter with a two ton bomb and say it was self defense. It was him or me you honor. He'll laugh at you. That's clearly going overboard to unreasonable.

Depends on how much of a threat the other person is. You don't have to have a weapon to be a deadly threat to someone. Race aside, this could just be an unfortunate case of fafo.

He just killed somebody over something meager. He didn't use his hands, but an actual weapon. That could have been anybody else, white, black, old person.
He can practice anger management behind bars.

This confrontation sounds like every typical conflict you see in high school growing up. We used our fists back then.
