As someone who has been a victim of a hate crime, all I can imagine is having these two D1 football recruits massing up on me with however many other white kids from likely from their team trying to bully me.

I’ve even seen that bullying may be a provable pattern with these guys. I would much rather nobody get killed but even without knowing how often these boys just decide to rough people up and destroy their belongings, they initiated the fight.

Now let’s say they do have a rep for being aggressive, all the more reason to escalate the amount of force.

Yeah, i been seeing that story too. I wasn’t sure if it was factual about the fight weeks prior. But, it make sense because it give reason why they singled him out when he was sitting with other people from his school

I am not jumping the gun either way but one of the things I find interesting about this developing story that it is very odd how the father has been doing interviews with anyone putting a mic in his face....

He is also going out of his way in EVERY interview doubling and tripling down on the fact that this is NOT about race, and how much he forgives Karmelo and that he is a good kid as well, etc... He is also angry about the things beings said about his son saying "if you were not there then you do not know" which is TRUE.

BUT the problem with that narrative is there were a LOT of people that WERE there, and some of them are not on the race baiting WS code that our society, Twitter, and news story comments want them to be and they are telling what they observed and have a much different narrative from victims twin brother and have given statements to the police.

The father is getting out in front of everything because he knows it will not paint his son in a good light is what I am gathering so far. That does not justify the death of his son by any means but it does the change the narrative if you are to believe the stories coming out from kids that were there.
