Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I'm not high on Cliff as a prospect at all. He's a 6'8 center with no post moves. Oubre will ride the Lavine potential wave and go lottery. :yeshrug:

He's dropped to 13th on most boards, he needs to come out now, staying another year would kill his stock next year. Dude needs to enter the draft before teams find out he's not that good.

This reminds me of the Boogie Cousins vs Derrick Favors debate kinda.

I'll take Okafor 1st over Towns but in actuality, you can't go wrong with either one

Towns is a lot more polished offensively than Favors was, this is more like Boogie vs LaMarcus Aldridge.

Yeah I agree, I don't think Towns will be Brow or Nerlens elite level defense in the NBA, but he'll be a good defender that won't compromise your defense.
That's not fair to compare him to those 2 monsters lol.

I think Towns if he wants to can make a couple of NBA second team defense as long as Noel and Davis are not both listed at PF

I think the all defensive teams list by G, G, F, F, C

I would be very surprised if he ever made an all defensive team

Nah, he'll be a good defender but there are currently 3 elite level young big men on defense, with Brow, Nerlens and Gobert, then a tier below that you have a gang of dudes.

I don't think he's going to be an elite defender in the NBA, he'll be a good one but playing next to WCS helps him a lot.

I think people are overrating how great Karl Towns will be on defense, as well as how "bad" Okafor will be on defense.

And the reason behind it, is because they are essentially only getting judged against each other.

Eh, Okafor looks terrible on defense. I don't think its being overhyped at all

He might be OK putting a body during man to man, but other than that .. dude is a liability out there

funny thing is, these two guys would be the perfect compliments to each other
said the exact same thing to a coworker today

Okafor on d is  and it probably wont get better from here on out

Not saying Towns is a defensive monster but he seems to be more in sync on that side of the floor and I can see his D getting better

pause :notinharlem:

Okafor is starting to remind me of sullinger at Ohio state the more I watch. I can't see him being a dominant center in the NBA or a sure fire franchise player at that position.

He's just not athletic enough or that big. But he's skilled. Still it's easy to dominate in college as a center. Not so much in the NBA.

Towns just looks like lakers Bynum out there sometimes, which is a good thing. And he seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

Kentucky track record is :wow:

Just wait how good he'll be in 2-3 years:blessed:

Dukes NBA track record is :patrice:
