Just was watching the video for Gold Digger and looking back on the brilliance of this album like I always do every few weeks :wow:

Late Registration is like a fine tuned/polished version of The College Dropout. Him and Jon Brion put in great work on the album. :ohlawd:
Who was that video chick at the end of the video? All the other broads I remember but who was she? :noah:

Agreed, he was cocky but he wasn’t crazy yet.

When he made that Runaway bullshyt that’s when you knew he jumped the shark. Started trying WAYYY too hard.

Late Registration was part 2 of Kanye's demo tape era that led to College Dropout and this album. When he made like 60 beats or so on the demo tape...

I'd may MBDTF was his utmost peak lyrically and sonically.

So some of the songs from Late Registration go all the way back to his demo tape? That makes sense. :ohhh:
Especially since Late Registration came out the very next year after College Dropout.
He made a great move getting Jon Brion involved with the album. Jon's instrumentation added that highlight around the soulfulness of the sampling on the album.

You have 2 Yes..the one before his moms passing........and the one we all see now.....his music since has grown darker and darker with each album. I think he tried to lighten it up a bit with Pablo..but his behavior outside the booth did him in...alot of people are done with him.
