hood by air is no where NEAR THE SAME VAIN AS UNDERCOVER OR NUMBER 9. are you kidding me? takashi & miyashyta have been in the game for over 2 decades and truly gave streetwear a platform to be in the popular state it is in now. we are talking about pioneers breh. shayne is using cool fabrics, but the implementation of textures is no way near the same skill or vision as those two. shayne has a cool idea of a dystopian future of hoodness, but it needs focus, which comes with years of practice. Jun has perfected clothes for the gloomy dystopian future. miya was so fukking goth and in a dark place, he had to quit #9, and do the soloist, which comes from a brighter and happier place

I respect what oliver does with HBA but they are really squeezing as much doe out of the hype they are getting at the moment and loosing that Grimy and Raw futuristic hood street rat vibe that gave them an audience. And to compare HBA to streetwear pioneers and contemporary fashion visionarys such as jun an miya? stop it.

Kanye has enough money to do whatever he wants to do. If he's tired of being treated a certain way, he can start his own brand. Fortune 500 companies have been started with a couple thousand dollars. Facebook got off the ground with 20 grand. The fact that you're arguing about this is crazy.

Tech startups are the only ventures in todays world that can crack the Fortune 500 because the means to create are readily accessible and cheap. Find examples outside of Tech in the current era.
