Blacks in America are always put in a box. This is why there hasn't been a Black President until recently cause the racist white power structure always made sure to keep us in our little box but we are survivors and we always try to go further. See the problem is you've adopted the same mindset that you state you are against. Hip-hop isn't the superior genre. The artistry that goes into pales in comparison to other genres. Hip-POP. Let's call it what it really is because Kanye is about as talented as Lily Allen. It's also never been a "black genre" and people like yourself and Kanye is why it'll always remain a genre to be b*stardize. If hip-hop wanted to gain credibility throughout the music world brothers would have taken to learning how to play instruments. Instead hip-hop has always been a black face on white instrumental talent.
