Robin Thicke produced that, as he does a lot of his shyt. However, that song never gets made or comes out without Pharrell liking his first album, signing him to Star Trak, and Executive Producing the album that "Lost Without U" came from. Pharrell produced "Wanna Love You Girl" before that, which got enough buzz for him to get a release date, and the rest is history.

Pharrell liked his previous shyt and told Jimmy Iovine to let him work with him on Star Trak. Before that, Thicke was about to get dropped because he wasn't selling and they said he didn't know what his sound was trying to be. His image was also way different. Breh had long hair and was riding bicycles in his videos instead of working with Wayne and Busta Rhymes.

"Shooter" came out BEFORE that album dropped. That's the song that put ears on Robin. When "Wanna Love You" dropped, it was nowhere near "Lost Without You". That song is still played even with Robin being canceled.

Do you know what? I’m bugging… I can’t believe I forgot this. They did make a star out of Kelis. Can’t believe I forgot that. Ok, you’ve gotta give the Neptunes one point for that. “Caught Out There” was big when it came out.

Now arguably, her album “Kaleidoscope” was a classic to me, it didn’t have the commercial impact like the aforementioned producers’ albums had though. But they did it again with “Milkshake.” But again, her album “Tasty” had multiple producers.

Kelis was always underrated to me. I think Kaleidoscope is a classic, but Kelis never really made it to stardom, at least stateside. I would say Tweet was bigger than Kelis and Timbaland only did five songs for Tweet, but two of them were huge with "Oops" being massive.
