The #duality here is that no one has strived more for approval from white publications and taste makers than Kanye West. From jump street he was begging for Grammys and even MTV Music awards. He threw fits and tantrums over losing and seemed to constantly demand validation from Pitchfork type publications...
I love the new album and fukk with Kanye but let's be real. If this is him truly saying "fukk it" then I'm all for it. But this seems to be him being mad he "only" got a 9 out of 10 by Pitchfork.
