In hindsight, Kanye is right. Folks are scared though. It's that the way he's bringing about his message is more to draw attention and controversy towards him first than to raise an honest discussion later. Think about the bullshyt "black lives matter". Basically us black folks in America have been conditioned to not stand up and fight back. Fighting back doesn't necessarily mean being violent either though it's an option. Got these folks still thinking holding picket signs and rioting in their own neighborhood is taking a stand.
I honestly didn't see what dude was doing at first so I chalked it up to him being intentionally controversial or somebody else speaking for him but he knows what he's doing and exactly what he's saying and he's right.
What I would like to know is what yeezy plan is. Is he running for political office since that seems to be a thing about black chitown figures being involved with social issues and politics.
