On a serious note: I doubt she has any success in politics after this. I don’t think she survives a primary in California post Newsom. 16 years of Brown and Newsom is a lot and I think the electorate in California is swinging rightward. The Oakland mayor and Alameda DA were both recalled and Gascon in LA lost decisively.

Henny Harris is going be on some board of directors in some company in Silicon Valley and eat off speaking engagements.

I think she can overcome the machine because of her name recognition. A former Vice President and US Senator for Cali is likely going to beat someone much less known with much less resources unless that person is a once in a generation politician.

It’ll be a tough road for a Democratic candidate regardless because looking from afar from a California expat, I think the electorate is looking for a change.

Her race against Loretta Sanchez for Senate in 2016 was a joke. She carries a lot of baggage. 2026 is a long way away though.

Obama will probably be the only black president unless America does a complete reboot. I'm talking new constitution, new bill of rights, new electoral system, new supreme court, everything.

We are still a nation that praises slave holders who revolted because their practice was going to be banned. They should not be a source of national pride, they should be a source of national shame.

No matter what you do, someone can always clap back with "your daddy ain't shyt" just like the Russians kept clapping back with "and you are lynching negroes" whenever any American politician tried to go after them for the repression in the USSR.

White people in this country cling too desperately to the advantages the system of white supremacy affords them.

The structure of the government is trash from Washington, state , county to city . They do not regulate anything. All they do is raise prices on everything not factoring how it drives everything else up .
