ok i'm on the same page with you. I agree with all of those policy items you mentioned.

now out of all of the candidates that are running in the primary, which one is the closest to agreeing/promoting these policies?
At this point of all the people who've said they're running its Warren and of the candidates out there she's my preferred.

Reparations and Criminal Justice reform should be What we're pushing for instead or hoping for crumbs of the Cac buffet

reparations sounds good, but it's politically impossible to administer. i've had this discussion with family and we can never agree on who actually gets it.

should non-American blacks get it? Should biracial AA people get it? If so, a hardline criteria needs to be established...or else you're going to have a bunch of Rachel Dolzials applying for it.

should anyone married to a non-AA get it? should it be a cash handout or a tax break? is it going to be given in perpetuity or is it a one-time handout?

there's a reason why even black candidates don't run on it. Because the black community is so ambiguous and diverse, it's almost impossible to come up with criteria that will please the entire community.

fair enough. I can't hate on that. Liz Warren is a solid candidate (although she's not making herself look good with this native american stuff)

1. Dreamers aren't "illegal"

2. Illegal immigration is not a heavy issue or burden that the right wing and conservative idiots would like you to believe. They just make it a bigger talking point than it actually is because they know their base is racist. The fact that brehs like you think it's a huge issue is exactly what Republicans want you to think.

3. We're all immigrants. And I'm pretty sure illegals aren't effecting your every day personal life, so what's your problem?

I’m amazed by the amount of y’all who STILL don’t understand a candidate who pushes for reparations will NOT win a primary, let alone win a general election.

I’m not saying we are not entitled to reparations, but look who is in the White House!!! There are not enough black people to swing an election.

How can anyone ever expect whites to vote for reparations???! How many more years have to go by before we stop thinking they will ever do the right thing? Would we vote to put OUR tax dollars towards Native American economies because it’s the RIGHT thing to do?

Getting black businesses and schools funded has to be on a local level. It’s not going to happen on a general level.

Only a WHITE MAN, has the slightest chance of beating Trump, and even HE will have a tough time. A lot of people who claim to hate him are pretending to hate him, because they are terrified of not being liked, and being called racist. Nobody knows who you voted for when you go in that booth.

Presidential elections are about voting based on strategy, and that is still “lesser of two evils” on a GENERAL election. Republicans have a core base who will always vote for them because they think Democrats are heathens who want to kill babies with abortion, and worship the devil. They are fundamental Christians, and believe in having as many children possible, and they all grow to vote Republican. The mainstream examples are the Duggar, and Bates families

Trump is appointing multiple Supreme Court Justices. They stay in office for decades, especially these last two new judges.

Democrats pushing for diversity has not worked. If white women wouldn’t vote for another white woman, why would they vote for an attractive black woman, who is married to a wealthy white man?

Just because something SHOULD be done, doesn’t mean it WILL be done.

This is what I been saying. There's the way we want the world to be, and the way the world actually is. Reparations for black people ain't happening. And the fact that it's 2019 and some breh still in here asking for his 40 acres and a mule after the country just elected a racist white nationalist president is just pure stupid.

Not really feeling her over Beto or Biden if I'm being honest. I like Beto because he's a true progressive and I like Biden because I think he has the best chance against Trump. If it comes down to her or Trump though she has my vote.

Dem primary going to be lit though. Beto, Warren, Biden, and possibly Booker, Gillum, and others yet to be named.

Robert is not a Progressive. He married into a billionaire's family and spurred a gentrification project in San Antonio. Not one thing he's said on his campaign had any substance or plan behind it.

I am committed to only supporting people who put Black communities and Native Blacks first -- meaning fighting and committing to help Native Blacks.

Meaning reparations - or at least trying and getting behind the movement. Plus, securing a protected status and separate ethnicity for native Blacks

She will never do that cause she is not Native Black - and it would expose her and the mask she wears.

Basically, I am not down for bi-racials nor - non native Blacks - claiming African-American at this time.

She should claim Jamician- Indian American. She was not raised in America - and just cause she went to Howard and pledge dont make you one of us.

She supports Israel and Zionism -- and illegal immigration.

wahhhhh

why she "hard on crime" but not prosecute steven mnuchin tho?

she a co-opted cop. :francis:
And this among other things is a legitimate point to not like her. She damn sure won’t be my pick.

However I see the usual suspects getting their smart dumb Brietbart style trolling about illegal immigration on

I don’t support or know much about Kamala...but if this is your criteria, who do you plan on voting for or are you voting?

I don't know. But, not her.

Basically, I want to see someone who supports people who are actively doing something for Black communities.

So, if I see an candidate doing something directly that is helping my people -- and our issues. That's more than talk. That's who I will support.

We really need to take control over our organizations. Black faces do not equal supporting Black natives and our issues in America.
