i didn't think you were :hubie:

If he's more competitive in the south... a big IF, I think a bigger field of Dem candidates will help him. South Carolina is early enough.

California being early though helps Harris a lot though.

Also, let us not forget there is no winner take all of delegates. It is proportional. Which could deliver a CONTESTED CONVENTION if no one separates themselves..or we have Obama vs. Clinton again type of scenario.
Cali moving up also has a huge impact as well.

But yea if he snipes the south, and he's popular among educated blacks in the south, it's a new day.

I'm intrigued and excited. Hopefully I'll still be in the south tonenjoy it.

She may not be a progressive that fits the current label, she may be more of a centrist, and that is fine, for a few reasons, but mainly that we are in a crisis with the current admin, and we need to stop the bleeding. She has spent a lifetime in public office, and is experienced in areas that qualify for higher office. When I say cog in a system, I am specifically saying when she was state AG and DA in SF. But, generally speaking that is true. I like her for the same reasons I liked Hillary Clinton. I would think if she had some more international experience, but here is where we are. These people are flawed, there is no purity in politics, esp. for someone who spent a lifetime in them, Obama may be as close as we ever get.

I also would like to see a woman in office, and a non white male, and someone who is relatively young, and from a progressive state, not a 78 year old, like Biden or Bernie. I'll take any Dem, but I personally like her. I don't know if she can win, or who you feel the better option is, but if she can win, I'd like to see her win.
Yeah, nikkas like you can never be trusted to lead anything. You basically said you want Kamala to win because she makes you feel good. A lot of capping when it comes to that. :smh:

Please show me one person in here saying if their Dem nominee loses they are not voting Dem?

Sure.

Not voting for that wench :hubie:

She ain't getting my vote :hubie:

She's a cop. :camby:

Only Bernie.:birdman:

I really wish Stacey Abrams would run. I cannot vote for this woman.

These kinds of attitudes are why the left always loses.

And my issue isn't with progressives (in fact, I am one) but that voters on the left are extremely self-defeating and it's going to cause more Ws for the GOP.

The people that despise her, or strongly object to her candidacy, who would you have win? The same people are going to have similar issues, on crime and progressive issues. Or support someone with zero chance of winning like a Jill Stein, who turned out to be worse that delusional, perhaps compromised, at best. Kamala has at least a chance of winning, maybe signs up Beto for VP.

This is really my point...Dem voters will never be happy no matter who wins.

Kamala wins? People will complain she's either neoliberal or too far left and say they won't vote for her.
Bernie wins? People will complain he's either neoliberal or too far left and say they won't vote for him.
Beto wins? People will complain he's either neoliberal or too far left and say they won't vote for him.
Biden wins? People will complain he's either neoliberal or too far left and say they won't vote for him.
Gabbard wins? People will complain she's either neoliberal or too far left and say they won't vote for her.
Waren wins? People will complain she's either neoliberal or too far left and say they won't vote for her.

I'm no huge Kamala fan myself, but people on the left really need to stop being so self-defeating.

She will get murdered by Trump especially with him trying to pass prison reform and her record being the complete opposite
I agree that her AG record is mixed at best.

However, just because Trump signed the First Step Act doesn't mean that he's some Criminal Justice Crusader.

Don't fall for that BS. There's A LOT more that needs to be done. Also, Trump is a piece of sh!t in general.

This is true actually. Republicans always fall in line out of party loyalty. Democrats are too divided and will quit on someone quickly if it's not a person they can unequivocally stand by 100%. That ends up working to the advantage of the Republicans. Watch when Biden runs, you'll get people on here who will say not to vote for him because he supported and voted for the crime bill 25 years ago as a Senator.

On the other hand, Democrats should have better candidates. We shouldn't just ignore the criticisms and the candidates should be asked tough questions and be 100% vetted. You know your talent pool is lacking when part of the reason for Biden's decision to run is based on the fact that he is determining whether he's the only person that can beat Trump. And he most likely is the only person that can beat him.

Biden has more baggage than just the crime bill. He's the reason you can't do bankruptcy on your student loans! He bragged about being the Senator for MBNA! He voted for the Iraq War.

What is he even running on as a platform? Ok, you beat Trump, then what are you doing for the people? Is it just more of the same? No structural changes?
