I think the Biden-Kamala or Dems strategy will be to not outright ban fracking but make it impossible or too costly to do (if they do pursue it). Sort of how the Republicans claimed they were not banning abortion but they'd pass all these laws/regs that do it in all but name.

At least that's my hope...because fracking is shyt and Kamala is being pretty hardline about saying "not banning".

Most New York Democratic primary voters are also center-left and would be turned off by AOC being a "democratic socialist". Winning a primary in a single district in NYC is completely different from winning a statewide primary.

We have to move away from fossil fuels, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Dems should try to educate voters on the issue instead of pandering to people who will never vote for them regardless.


I'm not saying ban it next year, but the truth of the matter is that the economy will change and some people will have to get new jobs.
