Whats funny is we think Chip wants safeties who can cover. But besides Jenkins all our safeties suck at covering. Look at the scrub ass nikka we drafted this year out of Stanford.
Same thing with LBs he wants a guy like Kendricks. Then you look at our other LBs they all are slow basically only run stuffing LBs. I hope they plan on following through & what we think they want. Because the safeties & LBs are getting are fukking trash & we need talent on our defense.
my nikka boykin with the pick...they need to go for the 50 burger
but 30 of 43 isn't too terrible. Just too turnover prone.

Reynolds cant cover but he has very good ball skills (I presume he wants 1 or the other) Listen to alot of his interviews...sounds as if he thinks you can coach tackling ( and he maybe right aboutthat bc the eagles are better at tackling since he became HC) at LB, seems like he wants the lean, muscular, long limbed LB who can cover and he can interchange on blitz schemes...long limbs to punch balls out and get Turnovers....you have to remember, you also have to be very good on ST, so someone can have all that but he they have no effort on ST he aint fukking with you. Most of the LB he inherited and I am pretty sure there were guys he wanted to draft they werent available. I think chip bypasses obvious talent if they wont contribute on ST and I think that is foolish

Ive heard all his interviews, he says one thing & does another. Reynolds had one good year with INTs then fell after his last year at Stanford. He is average at best. Also about the LBs none of them strike me at interchangeable. Acho, Matthews, & Ryans, are all thumpers & not good in coverage. If what you say is true about what he wants in LBs then he better be looking to draft Paul Dawson out of TCU. Dude is Kendricks but bigger.

What you want and what you have are two different things. By him having Davis and Gamble in- I "assume" he wants to fashion the 3-4 alot like the 49ers. Chip has to know he needs to upgrade at OLB and ILB. if Marcus wasnt such a p*ssy, putting him at ILB would be a helluva move but i think he shyt the draft with that pick. I am aware ( to sone degree of Reynolds pedigree) he has one awesome year but didnt he have shoulder issues the next yr? Remember, Chip LOVES pac 12 guy and he likes Shaw and how he runs Stanford so he brings a package ( no homo) that Chip likes. But I want to see how Watkins looks at Safety...he cant be much worse than Late Allen....right?

Yea but look at that 49ers defense they draft talent & athletes. Im not quite giving up on Marcus i think he will be good his second year. Dont remember if Reynolds did have a shoulder injury, maybe he did. I know Chip is a Pac 12 guy & loves the players. But he needs to quit that shyt because not all of the players are going to be good pros. We have passed on some good players these past two drafts. I agree about Watkins he is a lot like Jenkins covers like a corner but can hit like a safety too.
