Sounds like we had a really good day against the Pats. The defense stepped up to the challenge & Foles had a very good day.

good news out of joint practices with the pats is that Maclin has been "toasting" Revis on the reg :ehh:

Bad news is that Maclin is hurt on the reg :snoop:

I was defending this dude too last week in here about him being more valuable than DeSean :whoa: In my defense, I did say a *healthy* Maclin is better than DeSean. Hopefully it is just precautionary, but with each report of some kind of injury, even if it's minor, I don't know how much I can defend him.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...in-cuts-practice-short-after-hamstring-tweak/

The Eagles and Patriots are practicing with each other this week, a setting that offers wide receiverJeremy Maclin to try out his knee against cornerback Darrelle Revis.

That test seemed to go well for Maclin. Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Maclindrew three holding penalties on Revis during Tuesday’s practice and added that Maclin continued “to toast” Revis during Wednesday’s session. Even with the caveat that Revis is not be giving every ounce of himself during the workouts, that’s a positive sign for a player coming off a serious injury.

Less positive is the fact that Maclin pulled himself out of practice early on Wednesday. He said after the session was over that it was a left hamstring tweakthat caused him to sit out the remainder of practice, but that he still hopes to play in Friday’s preseason game. McLane also reports that Maclin was icing his right knee, the same one with the torn ACL, although that appears to be a precautionary measure.

If he does play this week, he’ll likely get a chance to face a more spirited Revis and another measurement of how far he’s come in his recovery.

Its a hamstring bruhs chill. Its kind of to be expected when he hasnt played since 2012. Now he is going hard. So i think everybody just needs to relax. The good news is Mac has been giving Revis that work. :mjpls:

Jeremy Maclin continues to toast Darrelle Revis in 1 on 1s. Looked right at us after beating him as if to say, "You reporters catch that?"

:mjlol::mjlol:

He isnt a our number #2. He is actually our #1:lupe: But i aint really tripping tho.

A lot of players get hamstrings in TC. Look at all of our injured players that didnt practice today. They all have hamstrings, like Shurmur said soft tissue injures happen in TC all the time around this time. Nikkas overreacting like crazy right now. Djax has missed just as much practice with the Skins. Djax has actually missed 3 full practices, i believe?

He only missed 5 games out of 66 before the ACL tear but he's always injured :mjlol:.

EDP that nikka though
Im saying tho! But nikkas say Mac is always injured because he will come out of a game for a couple players but then return to finish the game. Mac can be a drama queen sometimes tho.

EDP is that nikka. He is also the definition of overreaction sometimes. Nikka gets super high then super low.

1. How is Chip offense "gimmick"? Its an offense based on zone reads
2 Whether Peyton runs his offense or the Harboughs dont call plays, my point is , there is tape for everyone to dissect, so having tape on someone doesnt mean all of a sudden the wheels will fall of for Chip
Exactly people that think chips offense is similar to the wildcat or another gimmicky offense don't understand football very well. This is a zone read offense there is no gimmick to it the qb reads the defensive alignment on each play and decides between three plays to run. You can have as much tape as you want but chip adjusts this to each teams defensive weakness to exploit them. Do you guys not remember how everyone, I mean literally everyone, was saying that he needed a mobile qb to run his system? That's obviously not true, he adjusts his offensive scheme to his personnel and the defies me he is facing that week. If anything I would say they fact that chip now has film on how NFL defenses react to his scheme will be a bigger help then vice versa

I'm not overreacting to Maclin's injury. The frustrating thing is when you start hearing reports of him progressing in camp from his ACL tear, but then followed by something that slows down that progress. I'm know he'll be ready to go for the opener though.
