How is a gimmick offense?

Its spread zone based principles with west coast passing concepts.

Its the same zone running game that the Texans ran & the Ravens now. With West Coast passing concepts which is why Pat Shummer is our OC. Chip just spreads you out. Then runs a no huddle. So gimmick not even close.

im not saying the wheels fall off for chip, im saying its gonna be more difficult this year. all teams on their schedule this year have watched all 17 games they played last year in preparation for this year

I agree that the schedule is harder since the eagles got the first place schedule but i dont see the correlation with DC all of a sudden saying "Eureka, I can stop Chip now that I saw 17 games of Eagles offense"

When you say noone runs this offense that not exactly true, half the NFL employs zone blocks for the run game, the only difference is most teams dont ask their QB to employ any read option plays, and honestly, Chip doesnt ask Foles to do RO that often, he does it to try and put defenses on their heels but its clearly not a goto play when you have Foles at QB. The only way Chip doesnt succeed in the NFL is (what I fear) is he thinks his system is bigger than the talent of a player and at the end of the day, you need talent to win.

Because scouts said he didnt have quick feet for his size. Which he has proven so far he does. Also he never played up to his size. Go watch his game against the Buckeyes. But im glad he did fall, coach Azz & Chip found a hidden gem.

not alot of teams use a 100% true blue 3-4 Nose Tackle who doesnt have pass rushing skills. Beau is being asked to be a 2-gapper which means he wouldnt be asked to get the sacks, just eat up blockers.

that to, but he seems to have good feet to me. I mean sure his 40 yrd time is probably like 9.09 but he isnt asked to run so i dont give a shyt how slow he is. That white boy is strong as an OX..he pushes centers into the QB...im telling you Bennie just got a problem now

i agree. But you know scouts just nitpick any little thing. Thats the result of the extended draft process. Beau at Wisconsin tho never played up to his size. That game against the Buckeyes he was getting man handled & couldnt hold the point of attack. But i think Coach Azz & NFL coachin in general will pay off big for Beau.

Not only this but when Vick ran chip Kelly's offense in those first four games or so the offense didn't look anywhere near as in sync as it did was foles came in.

Also I don't see what's so lucky about a qb anticipating routes and throwing receivers open or what's to be figured out about it

That offensive line got more in synch as the season went on which benefited Foles once Mike got hurt.
It also helped that around the same time the defense started to click more too.

Bro the offensive line was never the problem, Vick just held on to the football for too long. Foles got rid of the football quicker thus making the online look better.

true indeed..when they drafted Taylor I was like with the Chip favoritism and then I look at this white boy and he is the biggest doofiest looking sonbytch I ever seen

but..when he gets in...he gives the O Line that work...so now, i change my tune a lil
