It would have been a dream breh Desean, Sproles, McCoy, Maclin, Ertz, Celek, Matthews behind that O LINE with Chips fast pace spread offense.
In hindsight, if they would have let KKKooper walk (which I really thought they would) the money they gave to KKKooper, could have allowed them(with little cap consequences) to keep Desean Jackson one more year and then cut him because of the Cap situation.
But then again he was bytching about his contract again after the playoff lose to New Orleans last year when he was due to make 10.25 million plus like 2 million in automatic bonuses (that would have been the most he ever made in a single year in the nfl ever even more than his current redskins contract) 12.25 million

1. That first made me question this guy Desean's intelligence
. I would understand acting a fool the next year (when the amount decreases) but not when you are due 10.25 million .
. His little ass got caught up in the hype and he thought he had the team by the balls and he deserved a Mega Tron contract.
2. There had to have been more to why he was cut. Not saying it was that gang bullshyt that one reporter created which spread like wild fire. There was something going on behind the scenes for years under Andy Reid that Chip was like
when he first saw it.
3. I really thought they would draft somebody in the first round like Brandin Cooks, Kelvin Benjamin or Marqise Lee to replace Desean's production. So most of us in the fan base were like "meh" when they cut him.

Also if we drafted one of those players, Jordan Matthews may have not been available for us in the second round. I really like that kid.
4. In the greater scheme of things, they are planning something at wide receiver for next year either through the draft or free agency, they have to be, don't understand the KKK Rally KKKooper new contract angle but they are and that is the reason they gave Desean his walking paper. Get his money off the books early.
