Negative.

Problem is, we are not out in wherever hooping with randoms, we are talking about a division 1 NCAA head basketball coach who is being paid millions of dollars by the State university, exiting a nationally televised competition venue against a conference opponent.

It's one thing to say he deserved to be slapped but it's another to actually DO IT on live broadcast when there clearly multiple other options to diffuse the situation. But I could already understand this concept is too complex for your simple one-track mind:mjlol:

You clowns keep reaching with this "self defense" bullshyt like some randoms ran up on him at the blacktop and tried to jump, and u just look dumb doing it. There was not a single threat on that court that warranted that type of reaction and y'all know it. We seen benches clear and players separate each other billions of times. They push each other away talk their shyt and KIM:mjlol:this was going to have been one of those times, but Howard decided to start smacking the fxck out of ppl. y'all steady acting like them inbred dorks were about to pull a knife and he had no choice.

You must not watch B10 basketball. Howard has BEEN a hothead since he took the job, he has the temperament of a 6 year old. It's embarrassing as hell. He has "put hands" on plenty of ppl by your definition. He constantly does shyt that wouldn't fly on the blacktop. He's an angry mf this story don't eem surprise me. I guess he needs to be slapped too then?:ohhh:

So.. you wouldn’t come hoop with me, and talk shyt to a random, and then grab them by the arm when trying to talk to them afterwards.

That’s my point. :yeshrug:

White people feel like they are entitled to us -- and you are required to stop and acknowledge them when and if they request you. And if you decline or ignore them that shyt eats them up -- and they become violent.

You can say the same thing to a lot of people on Youtube that if a women dont pay a man's attention that they wanted in real life, they make like a million videos about why women are evil and want a women from another country. Or turned TFL or MGTOW.

I'm amazed at the lack of accountability and awareness posters like you are displaying. You're correct; you can't just do whatever you want. Head coaches cannot grab other grown men, impede their movement, and expect nothing to happen. It's not about who touched who first, it's about cause and effect. You're saying Juwan should have taken the high road, but the Wisconsin coach could've taken the high road and not violate another man's personal space.

We've seen countless times how these things play out. The person who starts the confrontation gets away scott free while the person who reacts to being violated gets punished.

If punishment is handed down, not just Juwan Howard needs to be disciplined. Both Wisconsin coaches deserve the SAME punishment.

Did the Wisconsin assistant coach remove himself from a volatile situation, or did he come in charging like a maniac putting his hands on Juwan's players?
:jbhmm:
You don't even know the other guy's name. You saying Juan Howard should let some random assistant get him so fired up he makes national headlines for putting hit hands on the guy? Nobody really even cares about who the other guy was. Juan Howard has to be aware of who he is and how his actions will be portrayed. If Juan Howard is too important to be responding to petty provocations from people like that.

I'm dead ass serious if I'm a rival coach out team would exploit that in a game to either get him ejected or mess his team up. I'd have no issue sending an assistant to get him to do some dumb shyt if he can't help himself.

He’s a great recruiter and an average to above average coach, he gets suspended and the team will actually benefit from having his assistants coaching with more free reign in-game.

I truly don’t think firing him is necessary at all, a heavy suspension and fine and keep it movin.

it could come down to what the boosters and donators want. Hes a school legend so they might let him stay. I could def see them just suspending him for the year.

If he wasnt who he is hed be gone in a heartbeat though.

He was pulling that shyt 30-40 years ago. U know that don't fly in 2022.
you also don't just grab on people at work in 2022. and then proceed to grab them again AFTER "don't touch me" at work. I see people continue to try to make these "this aint the streets" argument, but at work it's even more frowned upon to be touching people when they don't want to be touched.

unwanted physical contact of any form is the barrier...not punches or slaps.

It made national headlines because it's a black coach putting his hands on a white coach. I'm saying I understand Juwan's reaction to seeing one of his players getting shoved by an authority figure. All 3 authority figures should receive the same discipline. If the Wisconsin coaches don't get suspended, neither should Juwan.

I understand Juwan's reason for being angry. I don't understand either Wisconsin coach's reason for escalating the situation. White privilege allows you cacs to think you're above keeping your hands to yourself. I'm amazed at how oblivious you all are.

What happens at work if it’s the second time this happened in two years? What happens on the third time?

the person that initiated physical contact would get fired.

So if someone taps someone on the shoulder for a lecture and you swing at an instigator, only the tapper is fired? Okay now give a real answer

after "don't touch me"? why is there this skipping of information some of yall keep doing? stop being obtuse. alot of yall are caught up on the optics of white man and black man, there's a inherit context of one of these people being in authority and the other being in a position compliance-no-matter-what.

there's a difference between having words with somebody and physical contact. There is a definitive barrier there. just don't make contact with me after i say don't touch me. I don't have to go down rabbit holes and pivot off this point.

Escalation over petty shyt is a pattern. It would’ve been easy for a player to get caught up and cost his future in this one too. As a Michigan ALUM, I want him gone if this happens again. He’s a weakness and liability now.
