I don't get the "leftovers" thing aside from this album being songs that wouldn't fit the first album (both musically and because of length restrictions). Only two songs on Part 2 sound like they would've even been considered for Part 1. "Take Back The Night" and "You Got It On" are the only two songs that sound like they were left off of Part 1. I consider leftovers to be weaker versions. The rest of the album doesn't even sound like it was recorded within the same time frame. These albums are like night and day. It's like comparing Justified to Futuresex/Lovesounds.

Personally, I find Part 2 to be louder, darker, and more in-your-face than Part 1. Part 1 was quieter, lighter, and laid back. Part 2 is also far more Pop driven vs. the more R&B sound of Part 1. Part 2 also shares a lot of similarities with Bubba's Deliverance production wise IMO. Replay value will be the deciding factor in which Part I like more.

Well JT has stated that is how he describes both of the albums (hence the white and dark backgrounds on the artwork for both albums).

Part 1 was better. He should of either just released a Double LP or he should of pushed this back to next year and let Part 1 breathe. It's going to sell but it's not better than then Part 1. I liked about half of it. I actually like the whole "Long Song" thing. That's some Classic old school sh!t that Barry White and Issac Hayes and many Classic soul singers did in the past. Doubt it sells as much as Part 1 cause it didn't have a "Suit and Tie" type of hit. "Bring back the night" is Classic MJ style but it didn't catch on. I think this one sells about 50% less than Part 1, it will go Platinum though.

The album is ok nothing special to me , but damn if he doesn't have another big hit in cabaret , women going to be going crazy in clubs parties bed rooms to this shyt he has just enough good songs on it to make sure it sells
