This album is alright. Part 1 was much better though. There's not one song on part 2 that's seeing Don't Hold the Wall, Strawberry Bubble gum, Tunnel Vision, or Let the Groove Get in.

Blindness is :ohlawd: though. :dwill: @ that not making the album

I have to disagree. Take back the night is one of the best songs on either album. And Cabaret has that feel good classic vibe to it and can stand with most of the songs released on both

I wasn't really feeling Take Back the Night ever since it leaked. Bad attempt at an MJ impersonation. And I don't like the beat on Cabaret. Drake did kill it though :ehh:

I think leftovers is too strong a word. It just doesn't really always come off as a project that was recorded at the same time. I wish they had used that JT and the Tennessee Kids concept more. Hearing that on You Got It On was dope cause it made me think of Part 1. Part 1 had that grown and sexy, suit and tie theme to it. Timbo was going off yet very focused on that theme. That theme seems a little muddled on this part. True Blood sounds like they couldn't help themselves but try and have an ode to Thriller on the album. Then you have the country influenced Drink You Away. TKO was straying way too close towards being a straight up hip hop record. Only When I Walk Away is rock the first half then Timbo even throws some reggae at the end :pachaha: Gimmie What I Don't Know, Take Back The Night, You Got It On, and Amnesia are the only tracks that really sound like they could've been on part 1.

All of that would be cool if I saw a theme to this second part that complimented the first and the whole "20/20 experience" but I don't really see that. Part 2 sounds like Timbo just wanting to experiment. It works, just not as well as Part 1.
Obarth does it again :blessed:

I just finished listening. Iiked all but drink you away and the last double track(not a bad thing/pair of wings). The guitar songs were on some how to love tip :scusthov:

The bonus tracks are dope :obama:

Nowhere near pt 1 though..

I have to be honest and say I wasnt really feeling this on first listen. Ashame cause part 1 was dope I cant really says its wack after one listen but I didnt really hear anything I care about/I'm in no rush to listen to this album again. He had a chance to drop two bangers within the year with over 2 hours of music. But this second disk sounds like stuff that was left off the first disk for good reason. Then they had success and was like lets just release the extra tracks.

Not starting off very bad, people seem to be hating on the fact that he has been dominating the year.
Halfway through and it's not fukkin with the first part but I don't see how one could call this bad music.

I don't get the "leftovers" thing aside from this album being songs that wouldn't fit the first album (both musically and because of length restrictions). Only two songs on Part 2 sound like they would've even been considered for Part 1. "Take Back The Night" and "You Got It On" are the only two songs that sound like they were left off of Part 1. I consider leftovers to be weaker versionsThe rest of the album doesn't even sound like it was recorded within the same time frame. These albums are like night and day. It's like comparing Justified to Futuresex/Lovesounds.

Personally, I find Part 2 to be louder, darker, and more in-your-face than Part 1. Part 1 was quieter, lighter, and laid back. Part 2 is also far more Pop driven vs. the more R&B sound of Part 1. Part 2 also shares a lot of similarities with Bubba's Deliverance production wise IMO. Replay value will be the deciding factor in which Part I like more.

On the real, this shyt might have more replay value than Part 2. :ohhh:

The thing is that the stand outs on Part 1 are better.

think i prefer this to 1. so far feels riskier. more adventurous (1 was non-traditional, but felt kinda safe.. especially after futuresex/lovesounds).

1 had bigger singles. but the production on this one is a 13 track murder scene.

cabaret. :ohhh: caba-fukkin-ret. :stylin:

thank u based fattimbo.
thank u based snowflake.
