Raylan REALLY wants to kill Boyd :wtf:

Boyd: I'm not doing this :francis:

Raylan: oh yes you are. You are going to raise that gun and we are going to end this.

Raylan is a bully. He don't mind drawing down cause he knows he's the fastest gun in Kentucky.

And he WANTS to kill folks.

Raylan is the true outlaw in Justified. He's the biggest criminal of them all.

I hate the way they're making Detroit look all bleached out in this opening scene.

I wish they made it look vibrant like it really is. Whatever lens they're using doesn't work for me.

Detroit is a "racist ass city"??

:dahell:

Sidenote. It's funny seeing my girl Aunjanue on here. She used to be one of my clients and one time she drove into Detroit to meet me :mjlol:

At least she was familiar with the city when it came time to film this

Writing was a CLEAR step down from the OG series. Villain was vanilla as hell. Not memorable at all.
They should have left this alone

Nah Raylan has changed a lot. He way more nuanced and subdued in his approach as he is much older with a teenage daughter

Classic Raylan used to fukk people's days up for fun
I liked the fact that Raylan was more subdued as he got older but it doesn't work if other characters, especially his main adversary, are so mediocre. Three scenes with Boyd overshadowed everybody else that had 8 episodes of screen time :hubie:

This psychopath from Oklahoma stealing cars, killing a judge, terrorizing the whole city, doing all types of wild shyt in broad daylight without any consequences would've been over the top for backwoods of Kentucky set 20 years ago but it's completely stupid for modern day Detroit.

And the guy wasn't even connected like that and didn't have anyone cleaning up after him. Clement Mansell was the type of character Raylan would've killed within two scenes in the original Justified, while he chased the main villain that had more nuance and depth.
