Most Americans can't even name 2 Supreme Court justices. Who cares?
Are you one of these Americans? If not, then why do you think that's a cogent argument?
@acri1 was bringing up poll numbers and sh!t. He was saying that this was a "bad move" because most voters aren't in favor because of one poll.
Who cares? Poll numbers aren't sacrosanct and most Americans know very little about the Supreme Court. Biden's pick is going to be qualified.
Not really a fan of Kruger. She's too moderate for my tastes. I believe that we need a firebrand liberal/progressive justice.
None of the center-left "measured pragmatism" that Stephen Breyer followed.

I'm just looking for the youngest and most qualified out of the bunch. Doesn't mean that's Kruger. Like I said, I'm just going by the caption. I don't know their records yet. Though the SC judge based on what I've read so far, is not a good pick.

Always felt this way about Kruger since 2020. She was the Deputy Solicitor General for a year in the Obama admin. Legal people like to say that Solicitor generals tend to get nominated because of their familiarity with the Supreme Court, and experience arguing cases in front of the Supreme Court. Kagan & Thurgood Marshall were Solicitor Generals in the US DOJ before getting nominated to the Supreme Court.Based on the captions alone, I think Leondra Kruger is the most qualified. But I like Ketanji and Candace too.
Listened to a few cases she had in the past. She's pretty soft spoken .
