So I'm halfway through it and it hit me why Marvel's animated movies suck and I hate to be that guy, but they appeal too much to children as opposed to just having them have an across the board appeal. Now maybe at 6, my mom wouldn't have let me watch this but damn, these DC movies are serious business and have an emotional core to them. I watched Justice League: New Frontier for the 100th time the other day and all of their flicks have a timelessness to them when they're done right and more often than not, they're done right. Marvel has so many good stories they can adapt as opposed to trying to create new stories to tell in animated form. I don't get why they don't have this market locked down but maybe it's the Disney connection

Yeah they were cool but Marvel has so many good stories to adapt and they don't. Imagine a Death of Gwen Stacy animated flick or an Onslaught animated flick or House of M or Man Kills God Loves or Maximum Carnage or Death of Captain America and of course, Civil War.
