Weird thread. Justice democrats are leftists mainly focused on economic policies. As I've said for awhile, the left is struggling specifically because most people are not focused on their preferred policy ideas. When is the last time you heard someone yelling about universal healthcare on the domestic policy side, or drones on the foreign policy side? The dominant political issues today are abortion and the economy. Then there are racial issues that animate large groups of people in both parties. Most of this is stuff that leftists have struggled with for decades due to clumsy, muddy messaging about class vs race/gender. In short, they're struggling because most people don't give a shyt about them.

Biden is not Hillary. He's not animating leftists with the same hatred they had for her, and he's not animating the far right with the same hatred they had for her either. He's effectively neutralized that front and created a status quo wherein he may not be popular but will ultimately be the choice over Trump (I don't think DeSantis has a shot at the nomination).

This gender shyt you guys obsess over isn't animating anyone except right wingers. And it's sure as hell not what animates most leftists. I don't think it's a coincidence that Zizek and other (Marxist) leftists are sounding warning signs on trans issues being another distraction from class. Transgender women should not complete in women sports. Biologically they still have male traits in their body makeup and therefore have an unfair advantage against women. This has been shown time and time again in sports results where the Transgender woman destroyed everyone else.

I don't see any Democrats having that as part of their platform to campaign on, but at the same time they refuse to address it out of fear of losing LGBT support and when Republican attack them for it, they are put on defense. If you have to explain, you're losing.

The Republicans problem is that they are extremists and can't take a more moderate, warm approach about it that doesn't come off so mean and hateful.

It actually hasn't. That is just culture war misinformation. They're taking a few edge cases and trying to apply it everywhere. You just don't hear stories about the trans athletes who lose, because it doesn't serve the agenda.
