Just your opinion, which song is better J. Cole ( 4EYO), or K.Dot ( sing about me)

Fan of both songs....but it's Kendrick for me on this one....the beat is just so melancholy.......

This....And this is precisely why I don’t listen to the song that much. Every time I listen to it, I think about my Auntie and Grandma (both of whom passed within a year of each other) and I always get choked up and the tears just started coming down Even just thinking about that song makes me feel a type of way.

There’s a handful of songs that touch the more sorrowful side of my emotions but almost none of them do it at the level of Sing About Me. Only 2pac’s Dear Mama and Changes rival that for me personally.

No where near a Kendrick fan. But 'Sing' is probably the best rap tune from this era of rappers.

Sing About Me is the reason Lupe is wrong about Kendrick not being an elite lyricist. It's Kendrick at his best. Creative storytelling. Cole did his thing but I'm going with SAM
