Besides a few funny one liners, it was a wack movie. Towards the end, when James Brown was dancing and shouting "Say It!!" then Undercover Brother unzipped himself, my shortie looked at me like "What do u have me watching :francis:" I couldn't do anything but :yeshrug:. I really remembered it being funny but we were just watching like :beli: I gotta watch Black Dynamite again to make sure that's still funny :patrice:
Yeah it as over the top. What did you expect? I thought it was hilarious when that white dude "the man" shouted "I'm black and I'm proud!" Cuz he couldn't deny how funky James Brown was

The writing was lazy but the skits were the business, Doogie Howser stole the show, I always thought Eddie was the let down, like he wasn't in on the joke. It was essentially an extended Chappelle skit. The big gulp not spilling is the blackest thing put on screen.

This and Pootie Tang great black comedies from the aughts.

 I don't understand why "Pootie Tang" is considered a black cult classic. I finally watched the movie years ago & I thought it was Bushes-status.

To each his own, its surreal humor, its hard to find those types of black comedies/comics...and the leprechaun in the hood is certainly not that!
although the leprechaun in the tree news clip and its accompanying remix :patrice:
