Breh every complaint I hear about this movie is that their wasn't enough fukking/ nudity from the Disney girls and Gucci didn't kill anybody. People thought they were getting some exploitation flick with naked white girls and black guys killing each other over trap beats, but it was something different with themes about racism(selena Gomez) cultural appropriation( franco) and the desensitization of the youth(hudgens, benson). It's funny because Michael Mann's Miami Vice movie was a huge influence on this film and that was also criticized for being "boring". American audiences are just retarded and don't know anything about subtext or themes in a film.

Just because a film has some semblance of themes or sub text does NOT make it a good film.

All that shyt you mentioned was about as deep as a puddle. Their was an ATTEMPT at something more here but the film was a huge misfire.

This movie was just filled with stunt casting and poor amatuer attempts at social messages.

This is not the film to prop up as something to say audiences just don't get it. This film spells things out in a speak and spell level with some fancy window dressing.

If anything this film just lets me who are the psuedo intellectuals that think James Franco saying look at my shyt is something worth praising so they can turn their nose up at the average person who may have thought this was more of mainstream popcorn flick.

This piece of shyt has 0 redeeming qualities and it is downright laughable that you are attempting to paint it as some piece of misunderstood genius. Its drivel.

funny thing about this trash movie, a lot of highly regarded film critics, who swear they are sophisticated beyond the usual dummy that just watches film as a layperson, well, they think this shyt is just fantastic. film was a grade A trash. selena gomez and vanesa hudgens i still fx with though, but this was horrible. and that racist BS at the end with stereotypical black gang/thug shyt. shyt was even worse than force awakens with its raical representation.
