man I thought this was the series thread:pachaha:......I swear I was about to go off for yall not keeping this shyt in our team thread where it belongs. so at least I respect the fact yall brought the shyt in here. but still....hassan played like shyt in the 4th. he still played solid overall, but from the 2nd half this was his first BAD game of the playoffs. he needs these type of reality checks to keep him motivated. his weaknesses are being put on display and I have no doubt he's gonna fix them going into next season. young players need to get exposed now and then to realize what they need to improve. but again...i'm not trippin. he's putting up numbers that no center has in the playoffs in a decade. I got faith dude will improve even in the very next game.

Not one 3 point attempt the last 30 seconds of the game....
If we beat the Raptors that is going to hurt us next series.
Hassan is injured. His play will suffer.

That's fine.

But everyone is battling injuries at this time of year. It's playoffs. Win or go home.

You don't see many players moping around and hanging his head the way he is when injured. He has to stop that. Even Shaq pointed in out on Inside the NBA when he first got injured in the Charlotte series.

Lets be honest. That body language and effort was flat out disgusting today. Especially when you compare it to the hustle of Valench-whatever his name is.
:scust:
If we meet the Cavs Tristan Thompson is going to kill him on the boards if Valawhatever is out hustling him like this.
We deserved to lose with all those turnovers but Whiteside is getting the brunt of the blame because the team rallied back to a 6 point lead with 4 min left in the 4th when Whiteside literally went retarded on defense. Let Val embarrass him on multiple possessions, outhustle him (literally gave up a HUGE missed FT rebound to him), and outplay him while giving up easy jumpers due to stupid PnR awareness.

That's the kinda shyt people get when they max contracts and franchise centerpiece stuff gets thrown aroufnfd, breh.

Bosh was our best unassisted scorer and most consistent three point shooter yet people got confused at why he was asked to shoot threes.

Get used to it.
Yep

I gotta agree. Winslow is giving us nothing on offense. Yeah he's defending well but we're playing a man down when he's out because teams are straight ignoring him like Dallas did to Joel Anthony and Mike bibby and that shyt will cost you a series. Our offense hasn't got enough strengths to basically give teams a power play on on end of the court for significant minutes.

you can't even compare tristan with val. hassan always has issues on the boards with the big muscle guys like drummond and val. they just push him out the paint. hassan NEVER has problems with tristan. tristan and love had a combined 3 rebs the last time they went up against hassan.

Tristan Thompson won't do anything against Whiteside. Val has great size over Trist and is a much better low-post scorer defender than Trist. Whiteside will abuse Trist, like last time when Cleveland tried to play is small, and we forced them to switch it up....

Playoffs now and Tristan is playing better now. For our sake I hope you're right though.

but also tristan offers nothing on offense, so he's not gonna keep hassan occupied. hassan will be more available to help on the weakside. if there's one series that's all about matchups it's heat/cavs. you can't take anything from this series with toronto and apply it to the cavs. it's gonna be a totally different feel.

Val is just a good mixture of size, strength, and mobility. He's more mobile and fluid on his feet while Whiteside is longer and a more explosive leaper.

Val just seems a tad stronger than Whiteside and his motor was still strong because Toronto had ignored him so he was moving fresh.

I was mostly annoyed with his shytty body language and motor. Dude looked completely lost and unengaged on both ends. His post game was on some :scust: status

hassan absolutely has to add around 10-15 lbs this off season. he's strong for his size but overcoming 25 lbs is just too much. if done right, he can add 15 lbs without losing too much leaping ability.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

The Cavs would use Love and Frye at center in matchups with the Heat, they'd play Tristan to start out with but you'd see heavy dosages of those two at center especially when Haslem or Stoudemire are in the game. They put Love at center against the Pistons, it led to some wide open threes or Bron drives because Drummond was pulled away from the rim.

They are a really versatile team.
