i know we gotta be extra patient with justise but i'm watching devin booker ball out every night like:lupe:

:francis:.....and riley liked him too. told him he was lookin for somebody to take the throne when wade left. and booker wanted to be in miami badly.

"A great, great meeting," he said of his face time with Riley, and their discussion that touched on Dwyane Wade. "It's humbling.

"He said D-Wade is getting older now, is on the last part of his career, and come and learn from him. And I thought that would be a great fit for me and I'm willing to learn from all veterans, especially one of the best two-guards to ever play the game. So I think that would be a great fit for myself."

booker seems like a real student of the game. he wants to be the best. I don't doubt for one second justise will an all star one day, but he just needs to be a lot more confident and aggressive going to the basket.

Revisit the Booker/Winslow discussion in 3 years, cant compare a guy with no defined role to someone who came in the league with a green light.
I think Winslow was the right pick.

I'm not impressed by him at all so far but none of the players that were drafted after him really make me wonder if we should have gone there. Booker is playing on as bad team and had the green light to take shots. Winslow has to compete with Wade, Bosh, Dragic, WhiteSide who's eager to prove himself, Deng trying to remain in the league in a contract year, and Joe Johnson.

Oubre is also nice but meh...

Thing I don't like about Winslow right now is his shot is shaky at best AND he lacks leaping ability. Not a good combo on offense. He'll have time to work on those because he's young and has great court savvy for his age.

JRich had that dog in him, tho.
