I was watching the highlight and that Josh Richardson dunk :whew:
Reminded me of the first time i saw D-Wade play for the Heat back in Summer Leagues 2003.

I'm still waiting for Justise Winslow to impress me, BTW but i understand he's only 19 and still growing. If he turns out to be as good as some of you think he will... We'll be contending for a long time, brehs :takedat:

And Bulls sophomore Doug McDermott provided the hit of the night with a third-quarter takedown of Whiteside that drew both a flagrant-1 foul and some unexpected praise—and poise—from the 7-footer.

"I saw the line of scrimmage. I got sacked for a loss of five," Whitesidesaid. "It was a good tackle."

Miami Heat Would Be Crazy To Keep Chris Bosh Over 2016 Off-season

Miami Heat Would Be Crazy To Keep Chris Bosh Over 2016 Offseason

QUICK WATCH | 0:46
Bosh-Heat.jpg

The Miami Heat should probably move on from Chris Bosh. They panicked and gave him a max contract when LeBron James bolted, and this left the Houston Rockets up a creek without a paddle. The Heat, meanwhile, have been a middling team in the Eastern Conference ever since, and they could even be eliminated in the first round this postseason depending on their seeding.

Bosh has been diagnosed with dangerous blood clots that are potentially life threatening two seasons in a row, and it might be time for both him and the organization to part ways. There are more important things than basketball, and Bosh is intelligent enough to be an analyst, scout or coach in his life after playing the game. Maybe he should just get a jump-start on that.

Dwyane Wade is in the twilight of his career, and he could choose to play elsewhere if the Heat don’t make the right decisions this summer. He hasn’t completely gelled with Goran Dragic, and Hassan Whiteside has been a chemistry issue as well despite his brilliant contributions on the court. Joe Johnson and Luol Deng give them some great options on the wing, but Wade needs a pick-and-pop power forward to be truly effective as a player.

Bosh might still have some trade value, and the Heat should cash in on that now before it is no longer the case. The Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings are two teams that could convince themselves into trading for Bosh, and Pat Riley should be on the phone a lot this summer.

The power forward might retire in the off-season and save Miami from making a tough decision, but that isn’t guaranteed at this point. It hurts to admit the reality, but the Heat would be crazy to keep Bosh on board for next season.

Nobody is trading for Bosh (not that it would even be a consideration) and im not sure if retirement offers immediate cap space

:francis:.....and riley liked him too. told him he was lookin for somebody to take the throne when wade left. and booker wanted to be in miami badly.

"A great, great meeting," he said of his face time with Riley, and their discussion that touched on Dwyane Wade. "It's humbling.

"He said D-Wade is getting older now, is on the last part of his career, and come and learn from him. And I thought that would be a great fit for me and I'm willing to learn from all veterans, especially one of the best two-guards to ever play the game. So I think that would be a great fit for myself."

booker seems like a real student of the game. he wants to be the best. I don't doubt for one second justise will an all star one day, but he just needs to be a lot more confident and aggressive going to the basket.
