i guess we see it different. because i see Winslow more as Kawhi when you take in all facets of their games. & less like Harden because Harden was far more advanced on offense then Winslow.

but i guess only time will tell. but so far winslow has been more down the Kawhi path. coming in playing great defense guarding the teams best player & getting some 3s. but doing all the dirty work.
I see what you are saying in terms of him having the same ROLE as Leoanard, YES.

But similar games: NO

Brehs, you don't need to make the Kawhi comparison. His offensive game and motor are more like Jimmy Butler (Less athletic than Jimmy but more creative overall) but his mindset and IQ is very Kawhi-esque with how he takes what's given to him, in the flow of the offense, despite showing the flashes of greatness occasionally.

the quick emergence of winslow and TJ made rio and ennis expendable

but make no mistake, at the end of the day, this is a cost-cutting move.

meanwhile dan gilbert is out there spending whatever he has to field a championship roster:jbhmm:
oh i understand 100%. but if we are getting back players that can give us what Rio is giving us minus the mistakes. then i dont see the big deal. ennis hasnt done shyt. Rio it will suck to see him go but its a business. it isnt like we are cutting Rio & Ennis for nothing like Miller.

Don't like that dumping for tax relief shyt man. Dude's a rotation player, Miller wasn't when he traded him.

We'll likely be capped out for the next 2-3 years, this gives Richardson and Tyler more playing time to develop as a cost controlled backup guards. Good move by Riley, save some money in the short term and possibly in the long term as well.
