I always say season 1 & 2 are classic.
Season 3 is where we begin to see the flaws (some people say season 2, I don’t agree). Still a good season. Not great but good.
Season 4 has some very high highs but arguably some of the lowest lows. I think it’s better than season 3. Has one of the best episodes of the series, it’s an underrated season.
Season 5 is an underrated season. Like S4 it arguably has some of the lowest lows. But also has one of the best episodes of the series.
Season 6 is the last great season before the show takes its first huge hit.
Season 7 is bad overall
Season 8 is terrible
Season 9 lowkey is a return to form but past its best. Definitely watchable though.
Season 10 is like more of season 9 for the most part. It’s also watchable.
Season 11 is meh. Ok at times but I would skip most of it and just watch the finale then watch the final Talking Dead episode afterwards.

Agreed, 11 seasons is a lot and you're not going to have that type of length (don't ask me how in a Taxman thread
) without dips in quality but it's still watchable.
